Dimmer Switch with Green Indicator Voltage: 120V AC Installation: Single Pole/3 Way (refer to wiring instruction below) The dimmer switch features a fine tune adjustment dial to eliminate flickering of LED/CFL lights. It does not require screws to fasten the wall plate, blending perfectly with the wall. You can use it with any household lighting. Please note that this dimmer switch is not compatible with smart lights such as GE C and Philips Hue, which are controlled by WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, etc. However, it is compatible with CFL/LED/Incandescent lights.

Cloudy Bay dimmer improves the compatibility of dimmable CFLs and LEDs compared to standard dimmers by eliminating flicker and ensuring proper functioning at all levels. Please note that most dimmable LEDs and CFLs will not achieve as low levels as incandescent or halogen sources. Adjust the fine tune adjustment dial to achieve stable light output without flickering or humming.

Installation: Single Pole: Connect the green dimmer ground wire to the ground wire in the wall-box. Connect the black dimmer wire to the hot input wire removed from the switch. Connect either of the two red dimmer wires to the light fixture wire removed from the switch. Use a wire nut to cap the remaining red wire on the dimmer.

3-Way: Connect the green dimmer ground wire to the ground wire in the wall-box. Connect the black dimmer wire to the TAG wire removed from the switch. Connect the red dimmer wires to the remaining wires removed from the switch.

Troubleshooting: 1. Light flashes in the entire dimming range: a. Check if the lighting/lamp is dimmable. b. Ensure that the lighting fixture is compatible with our dimmer. c. Note that most dimmable LEDs and CFLs will not achieve as low levels as incandescent or halogen sources. d. Avoid controlling a group of lighting fixtures/lamps with one dimmer as it may cause flickering. Use a dimmer to control lights/lamps of the same type or model.

1. Light flashes in the low dimming range: a. Turn the adjustment dial slightly counter-clockwise to achieve full compatibility with the lights.

2. Get a dimmer list from the light bulb/lighting fixture's supplier to avoid compatibility issues with our dimmer. A broad dimmer list means fewer dimming issues such as flickering, buzzing, or flashing. It is also recommended to purchase FCC-compliant lighting products for stable performance.
